Our mission is to achieve a sustainable food eco-system through urban farming.

Our journey so far

Rooftop Republic’s team has been pioneering the urban farming movement over the last five years.

We are a truly multi-disciplinary team and we collaborate with architects, engineers, organic farmers, chefs and nutritionists to develop and deliver urban farming solutions.

Our biggest achievement

As of June 2019, our team has set up over 50 urban farm projects in Hong Kong and China, and transformed more than 55,000 square feet of urban spaces into productive farms.

Why you should donate your skills to us

Urban farming is not just about food production, but about bringing communities together, and as such, we have great stories/testimonials of how city people transform their viewpoints towards farming, food waste and climate change after growing their own food.

We'd love to tell these stories and spread the message of the benefits of urban farming (which are still relatively unknown). Skilled volunteers who contribute their expertise towards taking that message to the world will be greatly appreciated!
