Opportunity to give back

AccessInfo and Open Data Hong Kong are 2 organisations that have been dedicated to helping to facilitate members of the public, researchers and even public servants access the power of public data to enhance our lives. The organisations are joining together to create a new entity and are looking for a graphic designer to create a logo for the new organisation:
1. Meeting with OpenData Hong Kong to understand the organisation’s vision, mission, target stakeholders, values, brand personality and design influences.
2. Design of a new logo for OpenData Hong Kong/AccessInfo's new entity with 4 revisions
3. Presentation of your findings in a 1 hour wrap up with Open Data and AccessInfo’s team members

1. Mission, vision, values and brand personality
2. Description of target groups
3. Description of services on offer
4. Market research about other brands in a similar space
5. Collation of design influences

Additional skills required

There are no additional skills required. But we note that this project may take longer than 30 hours.

Outcome for the organization

We think that data transparency has the potential to fuel so many improvements in society, from smarter cities, to entrepreneurial and economic initiatives, to making justice more accessible. Our new organisation will help people to access public data and, more importantly, to make sense of the information they receive. Your brand will help us to get our message across and spread the message of the benefits of transparent data.
