Our Mission

At WISE HK, we hope to promote not just the benefits of sports, but also the joy and pleasures that sport brings to us. We hope we can inspire more women and girls to play sports throughout their lives at any level they feel appropriate for them, even if it’s only once a month.

We envision a city where sports participation for our women and girls is just a part of daily life, where playing sport is as important as work, family, and friends.

Our journey so far

(1) WISE HK hosts or partners with other organisations to provide opportunities for women and girls to participate in different sports together, including our flagship mothers and daughters days.

(2) We have launched our "WISE Sports Leadership Program". This is a program that uses sports as the tool to provide an immersive learning and training initiative for high school female students to enhance their leadership skills. As of December 2019 we've successfully inaugurated "Women’s 5-A-Side Football Night For Good!" to raise funds for our WISE Sports Leadership Program.

(3) We educate and raise awareness for sports matter for bettering the lives of girls and women, via events such as panel discussions, workshops for skills development, and via interviews profiling women who integrate sports into daily life.

Our biggest achievement

Our Mothers & Daughters day is getting more and more popular; we are gaining traction, getting media coverage, and increasing our volunteer base.
