Opportunity to give back
We are seeking a photographer to update the Centre for Refugee's image library.
The project involves:
1. A 1 hour briefing with the Centre for Refugees, to understand the project, the Centre's areas of work and the look and the feel of the photographs they would like taken.
2. Photoshooting in up to 4 locations, to take pictures of our Sports Programme, Kids Programme, Football Team and Food Distribution.
3. 2 x edits of pictures to create a final selection of 20 pictures to be given to the Centre for Refugees, in the the format they require.
4. A debriefing with the Centre for Refugees to showcase your final work.
Information on hand
We have:
1) brand guidelines
2) a collection of photographic influences, which showcase styles of photography that we like and dislike.
Additional skills required
We would love photographers who have an established body of work and are experienced in both taking portrait and action shots.
We may need to be a bit creative in this project - because of privacy concerns in portraying our clients' faces.
Outcome for the organization
Our visual identity is a powerful thing and the images that we use are key in conveying our message of how we can support refugees and asylum seekers to the world.
By helping us to update our photo library, you will help our image to be consistent with our key message of hope and positivity. Although refugees and asylum seekers face a lot of challenges in Hong Kong, there is also a lot that we can do to support them while they are here.
